These Chicken Caesar Burgers take everything you love about a Caesar salad and layer it over a juicy, cheese-topped chicken patty on a toasted brioche bun. Fast, flavorful, and a little indulgent — they’re the perfect weeknight upgrade.

INGREDIENTS

CHICKEN PATTIES
1 lb ground chicken
4 slices Swiss cheese
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp smoked paprika

SALAD TOPPING
2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
1/4 cup Caesar dressing
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
1/4 small red onion (thinly sliced

ASSEMBLY
4 brioche buns
4 tbsp Caesar dressing
Extra grated parmesan (optional)

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1: Form and Season the Patties
In a bowl, add the ground chicken, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Gently mix until just combined (don’t overmix or they get tough). Divide into 4 equal portions and form into patties slightly wider than your buns. Press them down a bit so they’re fairly thin—more “smashed burger” style than thick.

STEP 2: Preheat your Pan
Heat a large cast-iron or nonstick skillet over medium to medium-high heat. Add the butter and let it melt and coat the pan.

STEP 3: Cook the Chicken Patties
Add patties to the hot pan and lightly smash them flatter with a spatula. Cook for 4–5 minutes per side, until the bottoms are golden. After flipping, place 1 slice of Swiss cheese on each patty. Cover the pan with a lid or foil for the last minute to help the cheese fully melt. Cook until the patties reach 165°F internally.

STEP 4: Make the Caesar Salad Topping
While the patties cook, add the lettuce, 1/4 cup Caesar dressing, grated Parmesan, and sliced red onion to a medium bowl. Toss until everything is evenly coated. Taste and add a pinch of salt or extra parm if you want.

STEP 5: Toast the Buns
Once the chicken patties are done, move them to a plate. Place the brioche buns, cut side down, directly into the same pan (heat on low–medium) to soak up the buttery, chicken-y goodness. Toast for 1–2 minutes until lightly crisp and golden.

STEP 6: Build the Burgers
On the bottom half of each bun, spread about 1 tbsp Caesar dressing. Add a cheesy chicken patty on top. Pile on a generous handful of the Caesar lettuce/onion/parm mix. Sprinkle with extra parm if you’re feeling it. Top with the other half of the bun.

STEP 7: Serve & Enjoy!
Serve right away while the buns are warm and the patties are juicy. Optional: Extra Caesar on the side for dipping.
